Labyrinth

The Chapman Labyrinth is based on the 12th century design in the nave of Chartres Cathedral, France. Labyrinths come in many shapes and have been important in a number of spiritual and secular traditions dating back 4,000 years. Artist Lecture: Phung Huynh

Join the Escalette Collection of Art for an artist talk with Phung Huynh.  Huynh is a Los Angles-based artist and educator with a practice in drawing, painting, public art, and community engagement. Much of her work explores the complexities of assimilation and cultural negotiation among Cambodian and Vietnamese refugees in the United States. This lecture will focus on her Donut (W)hole and Pink Donut Box series.  This event is held in conjunction with KIN: Portraits from the Escalette Collection, an exhibition of portraits from the Escalette Collection that explore portraiture as a site of relationship, belonging, and interdependence.
