MLK Day of Service
Community Events
Members of the community are invited to join the North San Diego County NAACP during their annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service taking place on Saturday, January 11th. Several service projects surrounding North County San Diego will be available for sign-up. Check-in will be located outside the MiraCosta College Theater Patio and will begin at 7:30am. When folks check-in, they will be able to choose their service project. Folks will then be dispatched to their service project site and will volunteer from 9am-12pm. Coffee, pastries, and snacks will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their water bottle, wear comfortable clothing, and closed toe shoes. Service projects will take place rain or shine!
