NSDC NAACP Back-to-School Rally

Student Leadership Conference- Fall 2026

Big Questions: STEM & Human Values Talk

Lecture/Symposium In a world dominated by science and technology, the relevance of voices from the humanities is often forgotten–or worse, ignored. Yet the unprecedented changes fomented by science and technology–anthropogenic climate change, the rise of AI, advances in personalized medicine–have implications for society and indeed the very meaning of what it is to be human, topics of central concern to the humanities, especially philosophy and religious studies.
