Tanabata Festival Celebration
Come learn and celebrate the Japanese festival known as Tanabata (or Star Festival) at the Multicultural Center on Monday, July 7th! According to legend, the star-crossed lovers and deities Orihime and Hikoboshi were separated by the Milky Way and are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar (ie: July 7th).
