Stanford Jazz Workshop Noon Concerts
This is a request from Stanford Jazz Workshop and the Stanford Department of Music to reserve the area in front of the spiral staircase in the Tresidder outdoor seating area. We would like to host a summer BBQ for summer interns in the TID-RFAR division at SLAC, specifically within the departments of AEM and ART to a total amount of about 25 people. We would use the charcoal grills and picnic tables by Lake Lagunita, providing our own charcoal, canopies for shade, food, and drinks (including some alcoholic ones). We will likely bring a couple portable speakers to play music as well. The event would start around 11:30am until 2:30 pm on July 30th, but we would like some buffer time before and after to allow for setting up the grill and cleanup. We have had these events each summer for the last few years, so I will make sure that a work request to clean the site afterwards is submitted once our plans are finalized.
