The GSB Executive Education department has hired a morning exercise trainer for the Executive Education (EE) participants. We would like to utilize the Manzanita field (grass area) and the basketball courts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5 am to 7 am. Mixed Company Auditions
Mixed Company is Stanford's oldest all gender, all genre acapella group. We hold auditions every fall to recruit new members. Having a reserved room enables us to make the experience as memorable and exciting as possible for new auditionees (we decorate the room, cheer people on as they enter and exit, etc.) Some of us will be outside the room to welcome and talk to auditionees as they wait, while others will be inside doing the audition.

Classical Arabic Reading Group
This room is being reserved for the Classical Arabic Reading Group where we will work through Wheeler M. Thackston’s book An Introduction to Koranic and Classical Arabic. Our primary goal will be to develop a strong foundation in Classical Arabic grammar and apply what we learn through the exercises at the end of each chapter, many of which are drawn from Qur?anic verses. Supplemental handouts will also be provided to clarify key grammatical concepts and reinforce the material covered in each session. By the second quarter (Winter 2027), we hope to begin reading and analyzing longer passages in Classical Arabic.
This initiative is also part of "What is the Islamic Archives?" a new Stanford Humanities Center Workshop and the "Islam and Science" event series sponsored by the Abbasi Center of Islamic Studies.

Shaw Research (DESRES), based in New York City, develops and uses advanced computational technologies to understand the behavior of biologically and pharmaceutically significant molecules at an atomic level of detail, and to design precisely targeted, highly selective drugs for the treatment of various diseases. Among its core technologies is Anton, a proprietary special-purpose supercomputer that DESRES designed and constructed to vastly accelerate the process of molecular dynamics simulation.
