Please join us for a faculty panel conversation on the Environment and Building Resilient Futures. The panel will include Richelle Tanner, Skye Niles, Sandra Alvarez, and Christine O'Connell, led by moderator Angela Lederach. 
Meet our panelists: 
Dr. Richelle Tanner is an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Science and Policy Program, jointly appointed to Schmid and Wilkinson Colleges. She is broadly interested in how climate change affects both ecological and human communities, and our mechanisms of resilience. Her current research projects include: 1) sea hare physiology and population dynamics for increasing eelgrass restoration efficacy under climate extremes, 2) socio-ecological best practices for collective action in Phragmites australis invasive species management, and 3) values-based communication strategies for science-informed policy across stakeholder groups in the California Delta.

Disability Drawing Club
Renée Reizman, an interdisciplinary artist and writer, will talk about her work with Disability Drawing Club and her community engaged art practice. 
Speaker's Bio: 
Renée Reizman is disabled, Jewish, interdisciplinary artist, writer, and educator. She works within diverse communities to co-author stories about infrastructure, public policy, and social change. She is the founder of Disability Drawing Club, and currently an adjunct assistant professor at Pepperdine University, the University of Southern California, and California State University Dominguez Hills.
