After teaching participants about the history of the Dabke and how it has been carried throughout numerous generations, participants will have the chance to partake in learning how to perform Dabke. Caesars Events will present the traditional folk dance in authentic costume and props, along with modern and classical Arabic music. Following the teaching and participation in the traditional performance, participants will have the ability to enjoy Syrian cuisine from a small business in Providence. This workshop is a great way to bond with students of different backgrounds while learning and celebrating a new kind of dance!
