What roles do academic advisors play in student success at college? From the processional (academic planning, course selection, degree progress monitoring) to the personal (student goal setting, resource referral, career exploration, advocacy), an academic advisor is shown to promote student success. In this session, you will learn about the advising structure at USCA, resources for you as an advisor, resources to share with students, and an in-depth review of the advising process. .
