Participating in or witnessing this practice is a meaningful way to show respect for Indigenous cultures and build community together. Please contact Lara.Nelson@northern.edu for additional information.

Hí?ha?ni wašté – It’s a good day! We warmly invite you to join the NSU Circle Program as a campus community for our monthly smudging, 12:15-12:30 PM in The Circle Program room (MJ112) and Technology Center Courtyard.
Smudging is a sacred tradition involving the burning of sacred plants. It’s a way to cleanse, reflect, begin anew, and gather in a good way—as we begin a fresh start to the month.
Participating in or witnessing this practice is a meaningful way to show respect for Indigenous cultures and build community together. Please contact Lara.Nelson@northern.edu for additional information.
All are welcome. We hope to see you there.
