Smudging is a sacred tradition involving the burning of sacred plants. It’s a way to cleanse, reflect, begin anew, and gather in a good way—as we begin a fresh start to the month.
Participating in or witnessing this practice is a meaningful way to show respect for Indigenous cultures and build community together. Please contact Lara.Nelson@northern.edu for additional information.

Circle Program Monthly Smudge

Smudging is a sacred tradition involving the burning of sacred plants. It’s a way to cleanse, reflect, begin anew, and gather in a good way—as we begin a fresh start to the month.
Participating in or witnessing this practice is a meaningful way to show respect for Indigenous cultures and build community together. Please contact Lara.Nelson@northern.edu for additional information.
