Diversity Lecture Series: Vivi Lin

Lectures/Seminars Join us on May 24 at Noon for the next installment in our Diversity Lecture Series. This event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members and will be held in-person and streamed virtually via zoom. From kidnap victim to the first female president of a professional sports team, Vivi is a master of community building, leading with experience, wisdom, and innovation. She was the first Asian-American woman appointed to President of a professional football team. She will be sharing her story of resilience and overcoming sexism and hate in a male dominated field. Matt the Knife: Mentalist Magician

Arts & Entertainment The LCC Symphonic Band presents Arioso, a concert of lyrical music for winds and brass. We are excited to bring back this event after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic. The festival is free and open to the public. Join in for a day-long family celebration of our community diversity though ethnic music, dance, arts and crafts, food, informational and cultural displays, games, and other activities. The festival provides an opportunity for people to share their cultural heritage and learn about others. The festival promotes respect and appreciation of various cultures thus inspiring people to take pride in their own backgrounds.  More information about the event will get released closer to the event.
