Folklore Symposium

Join the first SPSCC Folklore Symposium: Legends & Meaning for our Ancestral Tales on Monday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building (27) commons! Come learn and experience stories, music and art from some of your favorite folktales and learn about their cultural significance! This is a free event and lunch is provided! This event is a partnership between the Cultural Studies pathway, the Office of Diversity & Equity, and the Office of Student Life.  This event is open to all students.  Any questions? Dog Day at SPSCC Library!

It's time to pet the puppies again! Pet Partners returns to SPSCC with their therapy dogs for some hands on quality time with their trained animals. Meet the Timerland Regional Library!

Have you met our local public library, Timberland Regional Library?? Well here's your chance! Timberland Regional Library (TRL) is a public library serving 5 counties (including Thurston) with millions of physical and digital items for you to check out. From books to audiobooks, DVDs to streaming movies, language learning apps and free printing, there's something for everyone at TRL!  The TRL Anywhere Library will be here at SPSCC from 11 am to 12 pm in the Student Union building (building 27), and set up over by the Clipper Cafe.  Services Available include: Get a Library Card, Borrow and return books and DVDs, Pick up Library Holds, Help with library online services such as web printing and digital materials.  We can't wait to see you!   This program is hosted in conjunction with the SPSCC Library.
