Alan Hart Scholars Presents Rainbow Chapters: Queer voices that helped shape America
"Rainbow Chapters: Queer Voices that helped shape America," presented by DEIC Office Assistant and IGNITE Peer Mentor Sam Fry and IGNITE Peer Mentor Jean Whitesel-Mallek, promises to be an enlightening exploration into Queer history. This engaging presentation will delve into the lives and contributions of prominent historical figures, while also shining a spotlight on lesser-known influencers whose remarkable achievements have often been overlooked. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about these pivotal yet uncelebrated individuals, uncovering their vital roles in shaping history and society. By highlighting these rainbow Chapters, Sam and Jean aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for the diverse narratives that comprise the Queer experience, one that also influenced them in their inspiring personal journey. ,
