The SPSCC Theatre Collective presents Single Black Female by Lisa B. Johnson at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Black Box from February 20 to March 1, 2026.
Directed by SPSCC alumna Raessa Patterson, the production explores the lives of two close friends—successful, single Black women—as they navigate love, identity, expectations, and the sometimes-absurd realities of modern womanhood. Through quick character shifts and sharp comedic perspectives, the actors bring to life an array of personalities and experiences that shape the women’s world.

Running Start Orientation Lacey Campus

In order to be prepared to use the online college registration system called CTC Link, new Running Start students are required to attend Running Start Class Registration Orientation (RSO). This must be completed BEFORE you register for classes and AFTER you’ve completed admissions steps 1-5 on the Running Start Steps to Enroll webpage.
RSO is offered virtually or in person at both the Olympia and Lacey campus. Parents, guardians or other supports are welcome to come with you (up to 2 per student) but cannot come in place of you! Students must RSVP for a session & attend. Walk ins will only be accommodated if there are no shows to the in-person sessions.

Running Start Orientation Virtual Session

In order to be prepared to use the online college registration system called CTC Link, new Running Start students are required to attend Running Start Class Registration Orientation (RSO). This must be completed BEFORE you register for classes and AFTER you’ve completed admissions steps 1-5 on the Running Start Steps to Enroll webpage.
RSO is offered virtually or in person at both the Olympia and Lacey campus. Parents, guardians or other supports are welcome to come with you (up to 2 per student) but cannot come in place of you! Students must RSVP for a session & attend. Walk ins will only be accommodated if there are no shows to the in-person sessions.

The SPSCC Symphony Orchestra presents a concert titled Little Pictures on Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Main Stage. The orchestra will play Samuel Coleridge Taylor's intimate, beautiful Idyll, and Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's First Symphony in E minor. Cellist Lynlea Swanson will perform the first movement of Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto with the orchestra, a poignant late work by the English composer.

In order to be prepared to use the online college registration system called CTC Link, new Running Start students are required to attend Running Start Class Registration Orientation (RSO). This must be completed BEFORE you register for classes and AFTER you’ve completed admissions steps 1-5 on the Running Start Steps to Enroll webpage.
RSO is offered virtually or in person at both the Olympia and Lacey campus. Parents, guardians or other supports are welcome to come with you (up to 2 per student) but cannot come in place of you! Students must RSVP for a session & attend. Walk ins will only be accommodated if there are no shows to the in-person sessions.

In order to be prepared to use the online college registration system called CTC Link, new Running Start students are required to attend Running Start Class Registration Orientation (RSO). This must be completed BEFORE you register for classes and AFTER you’ve completed admissions steps 1-5 on the Running Start Steps to Enroll webpage.
RSO is offered virtually or in person at both the Olympia and Lacey campus. Parents, guardians or other supports are welcome to come with you (up to 2 per student) but cannot come in place of you!
