Calendar - Student Life The spring Diversity Leadership Institute series continues with DLI: Race, Ethnicity and Culture in the Construction of Health of Asian American Communities. The presentation features Dr. Winston Tseng from the University of California-Berkeley.  Asian Americans are the fastest growing racial/ethnic group in the United States. There is much internal diversity within the Asian American experience, represented by more than 50 ethnic and 100 language groups. They come from diverse migrant, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds that impact their health and life experiences in America. This workshop on Asian American communities and health examines the historical and cultural contexts of diverse Asian American communities, and the role of race, ethnicity, and social stratification in the production of unequal health and social outcomes for Asian Americans overall as well as across select Asian ethnic groups. Reiki Healing Sessions with Mooncycle Wellness

Calendar - Student Life Join us to learn more about reiki, an ancient healing modality that assists in emotional, mental, spiritual and physical well-being, brought to us by Mooncycle Wellness. Three sessions will take place spring quarter, on Wednesdays April 27, May 11 and June 8. Sessions will take place via Zoom from 3-5 p.m. Guests are invited to join Lysa Fey with Mooncycle Wellness to receive a distant healing session over Zoom. Feyhas been doing this type of energy work for more than 13 years and has been offering sessions via Zoom since April 2020. The sessions are two hours long.
