Lecture - Theo Wilson

Theo Wilson’s experiences and insight are crucial in addressing the growing issue of hate propaganda on campus. Featured on Buzzfeed, CNN, MSNBC and countless other media outlets, Theo decided to create a fake online persona so he could better understand white supremacist trolls. He spent months inside learning about why racism flourishes online. His Ted Talk on the “Infiltrating the Alt Right” now has over 8,000,000 views. Theo has performed at/on The Tory Burch Foundation 2018 Embrace Ambition Summit, CNN, NBC and many many others. He began his speaking career in the NAACP at age 15 and has always had a passion for social justice. In 2013, Theo began speaking with Rachel’s Challenge, an organization started by the family of Columbine victim Rachel Scott. Through lecture, poetry and interactive discussion, Theo addresses the “how” and, more importantly, the “why” of college campuses having been targeted with hate propaganda. Comedian Francisco Ramos

Francisco Ramos is a bicultural and bilingual comedian, having performed in both English and Spanish. Francisco was chosen to be part of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" where he made it to the Top 10 finalists. Last year he was in Maria Bamford’s Netflix show “Lady Dynamite” won Cozi TV's Comedy Search and was selected to perform at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. Francisco has also appeared in the Byron Allen show "First Family,” as well as been on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He has also used his voice to create memorable characters in animation as the voice of the King Marmoset in the movie "RIO" as well as for the film Marmaduke. Originally from Venezuela, Francisco moved to the States as a teenager. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a double major in Finance and International Business, he discovered that his true love was comedy.
