Eastern Washington University Gallery of Art is pleased to present the exhibition Pressure Points April 23 through May 8, 2026. Eastern Washington University’s annual BFA Senior Exhibition features the work of graduating seniors enrolled in EWU’s Bachelor of Fine Arts Program. This exhibition includes the work of six BFA candidates working in a variety of media and styles. Participating artists include: DJ Diaz, Jeremy Fett, Steve Grime, Shen Meyers, Skylar Miller & Nova Morrigan. Location: Eastern Washington University Gallery of Art is located in the Art Building situated in the center of the fine and performing arts complex on the EWU campus in Cheney, Washington. Hours: gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm and closed weekends, and holidays.

Visit of Dr. Yvonne P. Sherwood
Dr. Yvonne P. Sherwood is an Indigenous scholar (Spokane and Coeur d’Alene), educator, and community-engaged researcher whose work bridges Indigenous governance, land-based education, and social justice. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Toronto Mississauga (Canada), where she teaches Indigenous Legal Orders and Anti-Colonial Methodologies. In 2023–2024, she was Washington State University’s Professor of Indigenous/Native American Law and Policy in the Department of Politics. Her research centers Indigenous governance, language reclamation, food sovereignty, and collaborative models grounded in relational accountability.
A proud alumna of Eastern Washington University and a McNair Scholar, Dr. Sherwood’s intellectual path was shaped by the transformative power of federally funded access programs and interdisciplinary fields such as Ethnic Studies and Feminist Studies. Join us for the final event of Greek Week! Lip Sync and Stroll is an electrifying evening of lip-sync battles and captivating strolls. From heart-pounding beats to jaw-dropping choreography, witness the Greek community showcase their talent and unity like never before. We will end the night with the Greek Week awards ceremony, celebrating the week's events and crowning the Greek Week champions.
