This event is about students giving them self flowers. Including paper, vases, and ribbons for their flowers. All of the items are going to be provided for the students; which are different varies of flowers, different varies of non-flowers as well too, paper, vases, and ribbons for the students. The students get to pick their own flowers and they get to choose from paper or vases. Once their done picking their flowers and their paper or vases, little index card are going to be provided for the students. Social Lunch
This is an event where students can bring their lunch and practice their social skills. These lunches are meant to provide a weekly, scheduled time for students to socialize together and develop their communication skills. Student Accommodations and Support Services staff will host and help moderate the lunches, and they will provide conversation topics and make sure students have proper support. This location is next to the Union Market to provide ease of access to food, and will be held in a small room adjacent to the main cafeteria seating area. Blood supplies nationwide are low! Join the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and Vitalant and roll up your sleeves for our campus-wide blood drive in a challenge to help our community. This blood drive will be hosted in the PUB NCR in honor of Cesar Chavez who worked in the community in the service of others.
Blood donation saves the lives of accident victims, surgery patients, cancer patients, and many others in need. Donating blood is safe, easy and takes about an hour. During that hour you can save three lives!
