The opening keynote will be delivered by Faaluaina (Lua) Pritchard, Executive Director of Asian Pacific Cultural Center in Tacoma, WA. Lua is one of the founding members of Asian Pacific Islander Coalition of Washington. She is well-respected for her effective advocacy and coalition-building work for the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander communities in Tacoma and Washington State. Lua has received many awards and recognitions over the years. In 2023, she received the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Community Leadership Award from University of Washington Tacoma. Food Pantry

The EWU Food Pantry operates on Tues, Weds, Thurs from 12-4PM in Tawanka Hall 129. Food is available to anyone in the EWU community and includes fresh produce from 2nd Harvest as well as dry goods and an assortment of dairy and occasionally meats.
